Registration is open for all Fall Recreation Programs. Please register early as programs fill early! If an activity does not have a sufficient number of participants 72 hours before starting it may be cancelled.
Please make checks payable to Byram Parks and Recreation Department.
All non- Byram residents will pay a $10 non-resident fee per session for sessions $75 and under and $20 per session for programs $76 and over. Exceptions are trips which are the same fee regardless of residency.
Please note that the locations of several programs have changed. We are currently sharing some services with neighboring towns in an effort to contain costs and provide the best services to our residents.
Fees are calculated per session and are not pro-rated.
Fees are not refundable without a physicians note showing inabaility to participate in class.
Participants are required to be the required age by the start of the program.
Please include birthdate and grade (if applicable) on registration form.
Use the registration and medical form from the website or located in the Recreation Office to sign up for all activities. The medical portion of the form is only for those under 18 years of age.
Programs may be cancelled for in climate weather. When in doubt, call 973-347-2500 X 444. Field closures are on the X 444 voicemail by 4:00 pm on the date of closure.

Get ready to celebrate Byram Day on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Neil Gylling Park and the Municipal Building Campus on Mansfield Drive. Rain Date is Sunday, Sept 12.
The fun filled day begins at 9:00 with a 5K race. The main stage opens at 12:00 noon with an Opening Ceremony celebrating Patriot's Day featuring a flag ceremony and opening addresses by Mayor Jim Oscovitch and Congressman Freylinghysen. The Star Spangled Banner sung by DJ Oswin will be followed by a performance by the Lenape Valley High School Marching Band and Cheerleaders. DJ Steve Roberts will emcee the day including hot dog eating, baking, tomato, sunflower and chilli contests, as well as the ever popular Mr. Legs. Rides for kids and games for kids and families continue throughout the day. Something new to try this year is hooping for exercise and fun. Adults can shop the vendors, view the Classic Car Show or attend Communiversity, a series of short presentations located inside the Field House. Food is available throughout the day so come for lunch and stay and enjoy a leisurely dinner.
