Get ready to celebrate Byram Day on Saturday, September 27 at Waterloo Village on Waterloo Drive.  Rain Date is Sunday, September 28.

The main stage opens at 11:00 noon with an Opening Ceremony celebrating Byram Township and featuring a flag ceremony and opening addresses by Mayor Jim Oscovitch and Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen.  The Star Spangled Banner will be performed by DJ Oswin.  All food vendors are local non-profit volunteers and a number of volunteer organizations will be on hand to exhibit how they enhance our community.  One of them is sure to entice your interest, so talk to the volunteers and consider joining an organization to continue the growth in our town.

DJ Steve Roberts will emcee the day which includes, rides, games, live music, demonstrations,  baking contests, and more.  Rides and games for kids and families continue throughout the day.  Adults can shop the vendors, view the Classic Cars or simply sit and enjoy a Boy Scout hot dog and dessert prepared by the local soccer team while listening to local musicians in the amphitheater throughout the day. Food will be served all day long, so come for lunch, stay and enjoy a leisurely dinner.

New this year is the "Byram Cup" Community Challange.  Pull for your community in a challenging tug of war contest to see which community is the strongest!  Forest, Panther and Johnson Lakes, East Brookwood, North Byram including Mohawk Lake, Forest West and Sparta-Stanhope Road north of Amity Rd, West Brookwood and Jefferson Lake, Cranberry Lake (voting districts) will compete in a tug of war "pull-off".
