Get ready to celebrate Byram Day on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Waterloo Village.  The rain date is Sunday, September 27.

Byram Day will be celebrated along Main Street in Waterloo Village, among the historic homes and buildings.  Enjoy a stroll back in time and have a picnic lunch or dinner while listening to various music venues

Opening Ceremonies begin at 11:00am and will feature opening addresses by Mayor Jim Oscovitch and Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen.  The Star Spangled Banner will be performed by DJ Oswin.

All food vendors are local non-profit groups raising funds for their organizations.  Many Byram-based associations will be on hand to exhibit how they enhance our community.  One of them is sure to entice your interest, so talk to the volunteers and consider joining to help continue the growth and improvement in our town.

DJ Steve Roberts will emcee the day, which includes games, demonstrations, a children’s area, pony rides and much more.  Local musicians will be performing all day long. Village guides in period costume will provide tours of the Gristmill, Blacksmith Shop and several other historic structures. There will be 18th century children's games at the Rutan Cabin.  A recreated Indian Village will have activities that the Lenni Lenape Indians might have enjoyed. Take a pony ride, enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride along 18th century roads or kayak on Waterloo Lake.  Shop the vendors, view the Classic Cars or just sit, relax, listen to the music and enjoy a tasty treat. Food will be served all day long, so come for lunch then stay and enjoy a leisurely dinner.

Step back in time and enjoy Byram Day 2015 at historical Waterloo Village. Hope to see you there!
