Second Saturday (and One First Saturday) Hikes - 05/13/2017 - 10/14/2017

Date: Saturday, May 13, 2017
Ends: Saturday, October 14, 2017
Time: usually 9:00 am, but start times change
Location: various locations

Hikes are designed for families or individuals looking to enjoy nature, get some fresh air and exercise in the beautiful outdoors. Trails are well marked, so faster hikers may move out ahead and slower walkers may take their time and enjoy the scenery. All hikers should wear appropriate footwear, no sandals or open toed shoes. Dress for the weather. Bring water and a snack.

Many of the trails have geocaches hidden along the path. Download a geocache app onto your phone and track the hidden treasures. Bring along a few small tokens to exchange for tokens left in the geocaches.

Check Trails for trail descriptions, pictures or GPS coordinates.

Download May My Fitness, Endomondo or any number of fitness apps and track your walk in the woods. Measure distances, calories burned, altitude (or attitude) adjustments created by the hike.
