Philiadephia Flower Show - 03/04/2015

Location: Highland Ridge Barn, Chester to Philiadelphia

"Lights, Cameras, Bloom" is the theme for the 2015 Philiadephia Flower Show, paying homage to the silve screen.  A dazzling entry garden, complete with red carpet, leads you into an Art Deco movie palace.  Theworld of movies and flowers will merge to capture some of the movies greatests moments in lush landscapes.

The largerst flower show in the Northeast offers something for everyone: awe inspiring gardens, a chance to see the newest plants that will be available in nurseries this spring, stunning floral arrangements, lectures, shopping, wine tasting, and hope that winter will end and the garden will come alive.

Register by Feb 15. Bus leaves from the Highland Ridge Barn parking lot, 100 North Rd, Chester, NJ at 8:45am sharp and is expected to return at dinner time.

Cost: $80 for non-Chester residents ($75 for Chester residents) includes coach bus transportation and admission to the flower show.  Lunch is on your own.

Bike Right Learn to Ride - 04/26/2015

 Are you struggling to teach your child to ride the old fashioned way?  Join us!  Bike Right Learn to Ride will teach your child the safe, easy and effective way to learn to ride for children ages 5+.  Using the "balance first" method, parents help get their children rolling while the child does most of  the work.  Participants learn the basics of balancing, starting, stopping, and steering a bike as well as proper helmet fit and adjustment.

Kids Tri Harder Triathlon - 06/27/2015

Date: Saturday, June 27, 2015
Time: 8:30 am - 12:00 noon
Location: Lake Lackawanna

Swim, Bike and Run.  Everyone is a a winner!  $10 per chid ages 4 - 14.All children must be accompianed by a parent.  Participants must be pre-registered to compete.  Wear a swim suit and sunscreen; bring goggles,towel, socks, sneakers, bike, helmet, and hand towel to clean feet after swim.  Ages 4 - 6 may wear swim aids and may have training wheels on bikes.

Parking is available for participants and families in the grass lot on the corner of Richmond & Heminover.  Walk across the dam to the beach area.

Participant medals to all, no individual awards.  Times and distances are not certified. This is a recreational event.
