Township Ordinances Reminders

POSTING SIGNS on any Township tree is strictly prohibited, Police Department excluded.

BICYCLE SAFETY RULES require that:

you never ride double on a bicycle
you always ride with the flow of traffic
your bicycle must be equipped with a light if you ride at night.

Automobile

DO NOT PARK your vehicle within 25 feet of any intersection or 50 feet from a stop sign.

DURING and AFTER SNOW STORMS, KEEP CARS OFF STREETS for better snow removal. Do not park your vehicle on designated snow streets when the road is covered with snow.

ANY CONSTRUCTION, including curbing, sidewalk, driveways, or roofing requires a permit.

PLACING LEAVES, grass cuttings or snow on the paved roadway is prohibited.

IT IS UNLAWFUL TO LITTER or allow growth of grass or weeds over 10 inches.
