The Lakeland Emergency Squad responds to calls from Byram Township, Andover Township and Andover Borough.  They respond to calls such as motor vehicle accidents, medical calls and fires.  They also attend all recreational sports games such as Little League, Football and some Lenape Valley Regional High School sports events.

The Lakeland Emergency Squad provides training for interested volunteers over 17 years of age.  The training is held several nights during the week and on Saturdays.  Volunteers are welcome to join.

The Lakeland Emergency Squad sponsors the George B. Johnson Memorial Award given to an eighth grader for community service and volunteerism in the community.
